I like it...but I think not combine the orange, the colors (minus the orange) the 3d this great! he has 6 eyes?
and tubes on the side, would simply disappear maybe work a little harder at it.

I don't really like how the tubes on the side blur that much - it stands out.
Other than that, it's great. I especially like the plates at the back.

It needs more depth shading. Like some areas are just flat. More shading like around the eyes would be good. Just get creative with it. Try using a large soft shading brush for those types of effects.

The plates also look bland, the edges seem to be the only thing you focused on. Would look so much better with some grunge maybe.
The front needs some breathing holes or something to make it look more like a space suit. Also the pipes should just be removed cause they don't fit at all.

Added some texture to the plates and the skin, a tiny bit of depth around the eyes but I'm going to add some more. I'll try a bit of grunge on it later. Also took off the tubes.
