I placed a 2400 tc bet in the beginners aikido room, I won the bet but only got my 2400 tc bet back, wasn't I supposed to get 4800?

Also, you cannot be refunded. That is the thing with betting. Its a gamble of wether you will even get your tc.

Edit: I was so disctracted by your text I misread. No you do not get a full 100% profit back if you win a bet. I believe it is 10% (correct me if I am wrong someone).

Basically no. Winner get's 10%, better gets all money that are bet against his bet.

I think you just bet alone. Nobody bet on other player - therefore you got only your money back.

Someone has to bet against you for you to win any money.

What you win is entirely based on how much you bet and how much people bet against you, in other words, if nobody bets against you, you will not win tc. This is why betting servers exist, there's plenty of betting there so you can be sure someone will bet against you.
