You can use the emote to display text above your character/tori's head.
You can do this in multiplayer and single player depending on the version of toribash you have, with the command "/emote [text]".

Yeah, you could either do that or just know how to use "^" codes.

Example, "/em ^90 lol" the text above your tori's head would show up blue.

To use the emote you have to type /em before you type in what you want to type in.
