They did not leave without a parting gift, they released a torrent. We have not closely examined the contents, but it contains 50,000 passwords from members on gaming forums, 550,000 battlefield heroes beta users, AT&T internal data, 200,000 hackforums members, AOL internal data and much more.

At least, that's my guess.
Other than that, I have no idea.

No, lulzsec did not do this. vladcasl did. He posted a huge list of people's usernames and passwords on the forum which was immediately removed.

vlad got passwords from 2009

if you didn't change your password since 2009 you got your account stolen (seriously can't you at least change your password once every two years)
