How do you make a head texture auto-spin I can make it spin on gimp but it doesn't spin without me pressing play

Went to filter, than to spinning globe, than I
previewed it it was working than, I clicked save as, saved it as a gif, clicked the button that said animation and select loop

Just walked through process carefully, sounds like you did it right to me. Make sure you are not merging layers before saving. Next upload to a site like tiny pic, double check that the file you select has the .gif. After upload you will be given several link formats to access your newly uploaded .gif.
