I wanted to ask a question. How does a clan get a higher status? The thing next to the battle points in the tori clan thingy.

Generally, by defeating other registered clans in a documented clan war, or, by completing events that allow entire clans to compete.

But clan wars get the battle points up and events get the events point up. So the status points raise because of clan wars and events?

Your status is based on how much of both you have, yes.
