Yes, that is called multi clienting. When you see 2 same accounts in the same tourney, you can get screenshots and send them to GMs (people with dark blue names), and they will take care of it.

So do they get banned for multi clienting?

Well depends how many accounts are in a game if its like 7 it will be a ban if about 4 is an infraction if 2 probly a warning.

I believe they will be banned none-the-less. It is quite a serious charge.

It is also illegal to multiclient different accounts. It's basically the same thing.

The punishment depends on the situation. Previous history, mod in charge and circumstances all come into play so it wall vary. Just screenshot it and report it.
