Ye, so I know what it is, but when is it normal?

Like, is it normal when you yawn and hear a "pop" or was it normal before the "pop"?

If you have no idea what I'm talking about:

Ear - pressure = "pop"

Ear + Pressure = weird feeling


Which is normal? :F

It's fine to pop your ears.

It's also fine not to pop them.

You pop them when you feel they are congested.

You don't, when they feel fine.

The popping is just your ears equalizing their internal pressure to the outside pressure.

Happens for example if you fly with an airplane.

I just yawned now and I heard the pop. That doesn't mean something important anyways, but sometimes your ears can hurt a bit.

Or when you dive down in a pool that is relatively deep. (20ft or so)

Just so you know: You can equalize the pressure when you dive by plugging your nose and attempting to blow through your nose.

I just noticed that my left eye moves out a bit if I apply pressure to my ears.
Should I be worried?

My ears pop whenever I yawn, or after I shower. It's no big deal, nothing to worry about.. unless there is bleeding.
