I've been using Photoshop CS2 for about a year or more, and I have never had this problem, so I don't understand how to fix it.
It's not major, it's just a huge pain to deal with

my eyedropper tool keeps changing the background color instead of the forground color, think you can help me out? :c

If I were you, I'd try to get some help at Adobe's website, as this is for Toribash related problems.

Anyways, put your cursor above the Eyedropper Tool and right-click and check if you were using another tool.
