"If I'm Correct
I've noticed alot of people (virtual or real) have used the saying "(insert message here) if i'm correct." i don't know if it;s OCD or what but whenever i see that i have the sudden urge to say "well of course that's true if you're correct."
opinions on this particularly unusual subject?
my ears are full of shrek
yeap.
also to put it in context say there was a guy talking about Minecraft. eg:

"if i'm correct, then this here sand block should float on top of that there torch"

me: "well if you're correct then do you really need to say that?"
my ears are full of shrek
It's a method to divert negative comments towards you if what you believe is incorrect. After all, you're not saying that said thing will happen, rather you are presenting that you accept the possibility you could be wrong, therefore there will be lesser repercussions if it turns out that you were incorrect.

Otherwise known as:
"If I remember correctly"
"If what I think is true"
"I believe that's what happened but..."
