EDIT: well if you can read, you notice I said I tried something different. usually when you try something different (like what I did)
which was pretty much a "speed painting" of a texture you get results like this. I never did a speed painting, just the fact
that is looks like something makes it worth it. No sketch used, no pre-thought color sheme used. I just picked colors and painted.

Anyway,
I think it's one of your best heads.
Mapping looks good , although the top of the head looks a bit messed up. (I guess that's normal).
Overal , it looks nice.

Hmm , well it's just my opinion though.
"Best of this style" is that better?

i like it
i like the unfinished and roughness of it, works really well ingame
although i do think that some of the edges are a but fuzzy and it lacks depth in the majority
top view looks great, just a pity about that tiny bit of distortion
