CMon's Sweet Throws Comp
NOTE HOW THE DEADLINE WAS PUSHED FORWARD 1 WEEK.
Ohai. I'm CMon and this will be the very first competition I'm arranging. Lately there's been large loads of official and unofficial replay events, where the theme ranges from kicks to punches, from madmen to juggling. However, I've been dissappointed with the lack of competitions putting emphasis on one of the coolest things in Toribash:
Throws!
In this competition, I'll be looking for good MP replays of throws and flips, feigns and counters, which means the main emphasis will be put on modes such as Aikido and Sambo. (I do not forbid other modes though.)
I will start looking through them next Sunday, that is the 13th of July.
Oh, and if you see a replay where you are one of the participants, but you are positive you never did the fight, please, report it to me.
Rules:
- Limit of 3 replays per person.
- They have to be multiplayer replays.
- They'll have to be submitted before Sunday, the 13th of July at 00:00 GMT
- You can change your replay(s) whenever you wish to, as long as the changes are made before the end date.
- I will not be judging replays posted after the date.
What's Hot and What's Not:
- A good throw is smooth looking.
- A good counter often involves "turning the tables".
- A good throw often involves humiliating your opponent or otherwise making him look stupid.
- A shovel is not a throw.
- A throw involves throwing the entire body of the opponent, not just a limb.
- Very little emphasis whatsoever is put on score and damage in this comp.
- Be creative ;)

Edge Win: I don't know if you'd call this a throw, but before getting slammed into the ground, I save myself and put my opponent down instead.
Full Flip: Self-explanitory.
messup-flying recover: Messed up on my opener and got kicked into the air. I didn't really throw anyone, except myself.

I limited myself to 4 replays. All of them are awesome. Will be hard to take one down =(
