maps funny
the jaw is too wide and the top is too narrow
needs more distinctive depth on the sides of the jaw and the teeth could also be brought in along the bottom, there arent too many people with a wider bottom jaw than top jaw.
and with the top, splay that crown line more, the sphere contracts everything in towards the top.

apart from the small mapping issue, its going in a nice direction

better?

Stealing this head is not allowed, I would add a watermark but I think those are annoying. I will add it later when I get closer to finishing it tho, but on these early WIP's I don't think its nessesary.

does anyone have a good reference for the back? I can't seem to find one.

much, although i do think the bottom of the jaw could still be a bit wider, square it off some more to force perspective and move the depth line above the teeth, one tooth back

loving the almost flame like details on the sides, fills out the back of the skull nicely, something i havent been able to do properly with my draugr/orc head

The quality of the work itself is awesome.
You're on the right track to making a great looking head.
Take you're time tweaking the mapping until its perfect.
Making a perfect head, means making something that will look funny
when its flat. The eyes need to be oval if you want them to be round,
among other things. The nice thing with photoshop is you can
have your face on a separate layer and stretch and squeeze it
until it looks perfect when displayed on the sphere.
Keep up the good work.
