Those tutorials should be able to help you learn the concept of making things on fire and you will end up with a much better product Hope this helps you out.

looks good, I like the realism of the flames. The only thing that could be improved is the background.

I for one do not have any problem with the way you did the fire.
It gives off a "Spiritual" feel to me; As if the elephant was inside a dark temple of some sort.
I am not an artist in any form, so I can't really give any CnC.
10/10 for me.
