[Art] Abstract001
I realise that this might not be the audience
Since abstract art it's hard to criticise,
I just hope that you guys enjoy it.
I'll try to make two a day.

About:
I wanted to create a piece that you could look into and think about,
it had to be appealing and strong but not too overwhelming.
Calm but not wanting to leave the work.

About:
I wanted to create a piece that was very different than my usual work,
it had to be appealing and calm but not too cheerful.
I might have over-did this one a bit.

Images:
A picture of a wall at my parents house and a picture of a curtain in my room.
Time:

About:
The wall made me think of France in war for some reason and the photo of the curtains made me feel warm as the setting sun shined through.
I tried to combine the dark feeling of war with the warmth of the sun.

I'm an artist.
yeah, this isn't the target audience

mostly because a very large part of the community probably won't classify some shapes with a texture overlay as art.

i think the point of abstract art usually is a way for the artist to express his feelings but this just looks like your way of saying "these dumbfucks won't realize i'm just slapping polygons on a rectangle and making it look super gritty"

i'd give this a 2/10 for effort
shmevin eats smegma
Obviously you do not know how I made this.
But thanks for jumping to the conclusion and making yourself look stupid.

Two more coming today or tomorrow, depending on the weather!

Nice one, guys!
I really like that one, Xipherion.

I'll try to make one tomorrow that promotes a completely different feeling.

Also, I've added the work of today.

That's pretty nice, but in my opinion, the first one is too simple. I don't know, it does look good but it is quite simple, and with this 'distort' effect, you should add something more.
About the second one, It's nice, but it's too complicated with these parts that are more up and more down, but it's still nice.

I'd rate these 9/10, but that's a personal opinion.
I absolutely love the first two, I would hang those in my condo.
They took more time and are a bit more technical than you would think, but they look simple and balanced and I love that about them.

I agree on the second one, I should've stopped sooner.

Third ones are up!

Oh, you definitely hit the spot on that one. It's just beautiful, I love it!
They all seem to have the circle in the middle, next time, maybe put something else in there?
I particularly love the 3rd/5th ones. 3rd just seems to give me that air of "final boss is lurking behind that glowing green stuff", as if that's the floor and the green is radiating from some sort of device being operated by some sort of evil super villain. The 5th... I can't put my finger on it but I really like it. Abstract art isn't my strong suit in terms of understanding, but, it looks cool.
