Multiple accounts are banned multiple times every year.

Are you talking about the mass ban from accounts being compromised?

I guess it was.

Nothing I'm not really aware of.

I do know that multible farming/scamming accounts are illegal yet today.

It isn't illegal, it was probably an alt of someone who was banned.

If one alt belonging to a person gets banned they usually ban all others belonging to that player.

Often they ban every account with a similar name / similar IP / shares an IP with the banned account. Theses additional accounts are banned permanently.

There's nothing wrong with multiple accounts, even to this day.
