So, I just installed windows 8 on my laptop because of how slow it was acting in the past. I loaded up the toribash that I had on windows 7, but it appeared as if it was in safemod(the words on the title screen appearing as disoriented figures, and the multiplayer showing up the same way.) I tried downloading toribash again, but the same thing is happening. Can someone give me a fix for this?

What graphics card are you using?

Eh, I really don't know. On windows 7 it played smoothly with shaders.
I don't know because I just traded my old laptop for this Compaq Presario CQ61(ik its crappy)

Apparently Windows 8 has terrible drivers. It's probably better that you uninstall it and go back to Windows 7.

Windows 8 lacks GL support for a lot of hardware, manufacturers don't want to support their old gear etc. Plus Win8 is garbage.

Basically ditch 8, stick with 7. It's a far better OS.
