Hey there, i dont know where again to post this thread, so i decided to post it on the support.

So, i just saw a texture that is glowing, like its bright, i try to make one with a light blue colour, but it doesnt glow at all, so im wondering how to make a glowing textures

So can any of you guys give me a suggestion or a way to make a glowing textures?

Menu - setup - options - advanced - tick the box with "shaders" and the one labelled "raytracing"

Thats the best I got. If you could post a picture that would be helpful.

The only other thing I could think of would be a flame... But, thats definitely different from a texture.

Oh... That's just a good layering job and what not. Just study different art tutorials on how to create and use layers. Its just visual effect.

just a question:
did you even consider using google or youtube to find out?
did you even look in the tutorial or unibash boards?
did you make ANY effort at all?

people make tutorials for a reason: so that users dont ask stupid questions.

and support is for bugs and technical support, not for asking users how to make somethign glow in photoshop/gimp.
