Aside from the silencer being added to the M4 sometime this week.(Hopefully) Valve has hinted towards big tournaments(Like the International for Dota 2)with a way the community can help build the prize pool, we might see something like the compendium in Dota 2. Valve has never really helped push the CS competitive seen but if they do we might go back to the days of $100k-$1mil tournaments. This could be such a huge step for the CS competitive community which has been falling apart since around 08' and a big step for Esports in general.

Few more updates here, as we are looking for the patch tomorrow. We've go Dota 2 like drops I guess. Lame. Looks like buying keys to open these boxes may give prize money to a tournament hosted by the devs? And we have some in game pictures of the guns/models, inventory set up. Look like they are/were planning the silenced version of the M4 to carry 20 bullet clips. There has been an overwhelming cry from the community to give this gun the standard 30 bullets. Also *RUMORS* of f2p somewhere down the line? They are walking a fine line between reviving competitive CS or killing the series to all but the most casual. Guess we will find out tomorrow.(They usually release updates on Wednesdays.)
