With help from Blam and suomynona, I managed to make this! =D

Essentialley all it does is record eveything that appears in the chat box after you hit U. It is useful for recording conversations worth reporting, getting quotes, or interviews for ToriNews. It is also useful for keeping an eye on what happens when you are AFK. Simply go into the spectators and turn it on when you leave, and when you come back, check the log.txt file to see what events occured in the chat box. The log.txt file is in your scripts folder by the way.

To turn it off, you must leave the server or use unloadscripts.lua. If you want to clear the archive, just delete all the text in notepad. If you want to save it, rename it to something else and move it.

I may make a different version soon, too, that makes you automatically go in spectators and record, and have an off button.

I'm still an epic noob at Lua, I know some basic functions and commands, but thats it.

The last few pages of the lua help thread are all full of me being stumped.

I guess I just happen to have good ideas.
