The flame particle texture is to replace each individual Particle of a flame with an image that you upload to the texture item.

To actually have an active flame, you need to buy an already forged one or actually forge one yourself, using the ingame flame forger found through the Utils section of Setup in the ingame menu, or by using ctrl + L while ingame.

You need a real flame to use a flame particle texture. The texture is just so you can put whatever you want as the particles of your flame. Go to the forum>items>flames to buy an actual flame. Ninjas :L
