never understood why people draw the eyes in the middle of the texture.
it makes the rest of the face appear so low on the sphere.
unless you're planning something big for the top area of the head.
personally, i place the bottom of the eyes on the center line, so the nose is centered on the head instead.

not sure about the skin tone, looks a tad pasty to me, like a girl with too much makeup on.
try round the edges of the iris and pupil a bit towards the top, they look huge, disproportionate to the size of the eye.
also, finish a sketch layout befor proceeding any further, finish the idea befor detailing it. think of the big picture befor the individual elements.

I agree with BenD on this one, the eyes would be too high for my taste.

cant wait to see what the rest of the texture looks like.
