512 glitch
So I was recently given a 512x512 right bicep texture by my friend, and I put the 128 texture I had in the 512 slot but now my texture does not even look close to 512. Is there something im missing

you can't scale a non vector image without quality loss

in order for 512 quality the image you are uploading will have to have a native resolution of 512*512

So I just change the resolution of the image to 512x512 in photoshop?
yes, you need to native resolution to be 512x512, so scale it to 512x512.
