I used to play a while ago, but I can't seem to get to the L.Click controls to get them were they use to be. in the last version I played (3.99) I had it set to:
L.Click: Expand/Retract.
Shift+L.Click: Relax/Hold.
As it stands I'm left with
L.Click: Expand/Retract/Relax/Hold.
I find that having all 4 on one key (the one I'm use to using nearly exclusivly no less) is simply jarring.

basically left click cycles through all move ments for example extend contract relax and hold. also c to hold all and v to grab both hands or ungrab

My qustion is how to change the L.Click control, not what it dose.

i dont think you can :/

Try going into setup->options and setting "Mouse buttons" to 1.

or you can use z and x to hold/Relax and extend/contract
