I am having this issue quite often lately and the message not connected appears whenever I am playing, it happens randomly sometimes after 1 minute sometimes after several minutes. The network is working fine this just happens with toribash so I would like to know if there is any fix for this.

Also, I am not sure but with the previous versions this didn't happen. I'm running tb 4.91. Where can I download older versions ?

Try with lower graphics. Sometimes happens to lose the connection, expecially in crowded servers.

After some testing I can confirm the problem is in the new client (version 4.91), there are no disconnections in toribash 4.82. Hope developers can make it work properly in the upcoming clients.
