My server is "Betz" and no matter how many times I change desc, it always stays as that.

For the desc of the server, it needs time to refresh and to show you the right name. So it will take a bit, but it's changed.

There's currently a bug with servers, randomly some servers are assigned as tourney servers and their description is automatically changed to that of a normal server, and knockout is permanently on. It is being fixed however, so in time it will be resolved.
