Can a V8 Engine Fit in a Stock 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS Coupe Hood?
I think they allow non-Toribash questions here so I just needed to know this info for when I buy my Car. If this is against the Rules sorry I didn't know. If it isn't well now we all know.

wish i could afford a vintage camaro ss when i was 14.

v8 isn't a universal engine size by the way, so this question makes little sense.
No.

Also a "V8" engine isn't a standardised size.

You could get a 69 camaro with up to a 427 bb in it from the factory. The amount of room under the hood of those things is tremendous. Most common engines you'll find them outfitted with today will more than likely be either a 350 small block, 427 big block, or the 454 big block. Just remember that building one is more expensive than buying one already built.

Fun fact: If you try hard enough it is entirely possible to drop a small block in a civic.
