I'm stuck using Version 6.7 (8/23/2002 release) and there are no updates to this controller. Why did Intel abandon this controller when it has a graphical glitch in Toribash 3.6 that made it unplayable.

Intel ditched it because they stopped using the chipset in 2001.

Linux has working GL support for it, but Windows users are pretty much stuck.

I don't see 3.6 for Linux - just 3.5. How hard is it to update?

If your using Ubuntu with the APT version of Toribash it'll update the game whenever a new version comes out.
