eeek...second giant head today.

at MOST make it in 512x512. any larger and the resizing would RUIN the quality.

I do 256x256. But 1024x1024 is....too much.

at least it is kinda proportionally sound.

The hair and eyes look good, but the detail is just too thin and subtle. I suggest thickening some stuff on it.
