3D tests. vox goes crazy using mental ray. (warning over 4MB's of pictures)
here is an outtake from my experiments...
this render has the most reticules settings; to many polygons, lots of really strange over proportioned maps, mental ray, depth of field, caustics, soft shadowing and indirect shadows, motion blur and a load of random hidden settings.
here is a closeup (BTW in this i misplaced the depth of field a little):
here is a corrected close up, from a different angle.

i never said it was a piece of art, it's a test read the title next time.
oh and I'm happy with my CPU to be only using 2 to 5% rather than 100% so I'm NOT going to make another render.
