then made the sword's cover by myself. needs some work with the rope and needs more detail.

but you are right. it might look better with a different type of rendering.

To make it true to an actual katana (also we should start calling them katanas instead of samurai swords :P), give the blade/sheathe a bit of a curve. Also, the sheathe seems rather thick.
