Ive got a problem:
I dont get my trails transparency...
I made the flames with inkscape and then I saved it as .png
then I opened it with adobe photoshop and I wanted to set highlights...thats quite easy in photoshop.
then I want to save the trail as .tga but ingame my trail has got a white background >.<
I used google and it didnt helped me so much


help me pls!!

and I didnt bough trails yet...I wanna preview them in singleplayer

first I wanted to post the .psd file but then you can steal my trails...so

you need to add an alpha channel

I already tried it but It dont works!

Did you just add an alpha channel and not do any transparency operations?

Photoshop has a funny way of handling transparency by default. Take the png that you have from paintscape or whatever, open it up in GIMP, then immediately save it as a .tga with transparency. Then, if you open it in photoshop, everything will be preserved.
